A Changed Home
I have only lived in one house. I grew up roaming around nine pine trees in the front yard and running through the sprinklers on hot summers days. It has always felt like a home to me, welcoming, warm, and safe. At eighteen, when I went away for school, I only lived in my house during the summer and the occasional weekend visit throughout the school year. Some of my visits home I would come back to change. Nothing huge, but I would come home to a new refrigerator or washer and dryer. After twenty-four years of living in the same house with minimal renovations my parents decided to update the house because they needed some change. It is difficult to accept change, especially when so many things are change all at once. This photo book documenting a changed home.
"nothing is so painful to the human mind as a great and sudden change."
