Website Re-design: SharperImage.com

In 2023, we began updating the SharperImage.com website. The update process was carried out in different phases. Our primary goal was to create a more user-friendly experience for our customers while also giving the site a refreshed look and feel. 

Below are the designs and mockups I created for the IT team to implement on the site.

STEP 1: Cart 

The shopping cart on the SharperImage.com website used to be integrated into the checkout landing page. The goal was to separate the cart from the checkout process to create a smoother flow for customers moving from the cart to the checkout. Below is a mockup of the updated cart design.

STEP 2: Checkout

After removing the cart from the checkout process, I assisted in updating the overall look and feel of the checkout page. We aimed to retain some elements from the old checkout, such as the icons for shipping, payment, and confirmation pages, in the new design. Below are the mockups of the updated checkout.

STEP 3: Product Pages

After finalizing the checkout process, the next step was to update the product pages. We aimed to transition to square images and refresh the outdated appearance of the landing pages. Below are some mockups for the updated product pages.

STEP 4: Category Pages

Once we finalized the product pages, we shifted our focus to updating the category pages. Our goal was to incorporate design elements that we had used in the cart, checkout, and product pages. Additionally, we aimed to create space for inline banners, allowing us to promote seasonal offers or highlight pages such as our gift guide and gift finder during the holiday season. Below, you will find some mockups for the updated category pages.
